Class 3-302 is a third grade class which strives to work collaboratively in order for each student to reach their maximum potential. We are currently seeking to attain Master Classroom this year in the Accelerated Reading Program.
Class Rules:
Respect classmates, teachers, and school staff at all times.
Listen when someone else is speaking and raise your hand if you want to talk.
Interfering with classroom instruction limits the potential for learning and is therefore absolutely prohibited.
Class Schedule:
Classes begin at 8:30 students who are consistently late or absent will jeopardize their promotional status.
8:30–9:00 Accelerated Reading
9:00–11:20 Reading & Writing Workshop
11:20–12:10 Lunch
12:15–1:00 Library
1:00–2:15 Everyday Math Workshop
2:15–3:10 Science or Social Studies
3:10–3:20 Dismissal
School Supplies:
Students must come prepared each and every day with two to three sharpened pencils, mechanical pencils, or erasable pens. They should have 8 to 10 composition notebook as well as 8 to 10 folders. Two packs of Post-It notes, one pack of colored pencils, and one to two glue sticks.
Birthday Policy:
Students are welcomed to have their birthday parties in the classroom provided there is two days prior notice and the principal has given permission.

Students receive a weekly homework sheet provided every Monday. They are required to complete homework on a daily basis. Homework packets are also required to be completed over any extended school break.
